Hello and welcome to the Dilehner/Dielehner family!
Family members are currently busy in ancestery to create a family-tree.
The tree is based on the familiy of Karl and Clare Dilehner, nee Panke,
mill-constuctors from Maerzdorf, Borough of Grottkau (Silesia), and
their son Eduard, a baker, born in 1833 in Maerzdorf, Borough of Grottkau,
as well as his son and our grandfather Max Dielehner, bron in 1866 in
Falkenberg, Borough of Grottkau, also a baker in Gleitwitz (now Gliwice,
Silesia).
There is further evidence of the Dielehner family in Klein-Jenkwitz, Borough
of Ohlau (Silesia), who lived there between 1711 and 1763 as yeoman and
publicans. Further traces lead us to a family-member who has been a miller
in Gross-Gohlau, Borough of Muensterberg (Silesia), at around 1760.
Further traces lead to Patschkau and Breslau (now Wroclaw, both Silesia).
There is no clear information about the family for the years prior to 1700.
However, according to rumors of family-members the family might have their
origin in the border area of Bavaria and Austria.
